| CARTON is a CD-Audio with 14 songs and a very elaborated CD-ROM. This Enhanced CD is sold the same price as a simple CD Audio. This CD Extra is sold the same price as a simple CD Audio. Interactivity, sound work, graphism, and photographs by Michel Séméniako make it a unique and fascinating object. It can be funny, anguishing, dark or very light. Songs by BIRGÉ-VITET are extremely original, even if the roots remind us of waltzes, tango, bossa, blues, Balkan pieces... But this very French band is completely nuts ! The 24 page booklet and the digipack make it a lovely object. It contains pictures by SÉMÉNIAKO and the French text. |
Michel SÉMÉNIAKO (Villa
Médicis Hors-les-murs, Nadar Prize...) shoots his photographs
at night with torches. Each song is in itself a small world. There is no speaking in the interactive games. Whereas you will find video interviews and sound discography. The interactivity, which is supervised by BIRGÉ and VITET, has been realised by HYPTIQUE, in particular Étienne MINEUR, its artistic director, and Antoine SCHMITT, its technical director. All four have already worked together on CD-ROM At the Circus with Seurat. |
