Un Drame Musical Instantané
Un D.M.I. is well known for live performances on silent movies (26 films since 1976, among which “The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari”, “La Passion de Jeanne d'Arc”, “Man with a camera”, “L'argent”, “La glace à trois faces”, “Fall of House Usher”, the 5 episodes of “Fantômas”, “Vampires”, “The strike”, “Waxfiguren Kabinett”, “Häxan”, “A propos de Nice”...), lectures in music (Edgar A. Poe, Michel Tournier and Jules Verne with Frank Royon Le Mée, “Le K” by Dino Buzzati with Richard Bohringer, Michael Lonsdale and Daniel Laloux, “J'accuse” by Emile Zola with R.Bohringer...), hörspiel on radio and on stage (an opera-bouffe on a libretto by Régis Franc, a féérie at the Péniche-Opéra...), and many shows where improvisation and composition mix, where electro-acoustic treatments are incorporated with traditional instruments to build evocative musical fictions. Their recorded musical theater features more than twenty albums (distribution Orkhêstra International & Les Allumés du Jazz).
