Big success for Ciné-Romand, an installation mixing theater, new technologies and cinema with Françoise Romand's films and participation of actors and neighbours in appartments in Paris (Barbès). New Ciné-Romand in 2008 !

Her most famous film, Mix-Up (nominated as one of the 15 best films of the 80's by Jonathan Rosenbaum), is available on dvd on
Lowave (France). Next dvd to be issued in 2008 : Call Me Madam.

Narrative essay, Françoise Romand's new film, Thème Je (The Camera I), is considered by Rosenbaum as one of the best films of 2004 (Village Voice). The film has been shown at New York Video Festival (Lincoln Center), Toronto Film Festival (Canada), Jeonju Film Festival (Korea)...

Young acrobat Elsa Birgé is performing The True-Fake Wedding with La Caravane Passe, on her trapeze ! Next shows on May 30th in Calais, June 21st in Alençon, July 16th at Cabaret Sauvage (Paris)...
To celebrate the album Velkom Plechti! (cd+dvd), an extract of Elsa Dahmani's film is on YouTube and DailyMotion.

Elsa is also playing duo with sax tenor Antonin Hoang and gives acrobaty lessons.

Songs Only For Love (also on MySpace) and Écris-moi une chanson are on a downloadable CD with magazine Sextant #3. ¡ Vivan las Utopias ! is on CD Buenaventura Durruti and Le Chronatoscaphe (nato). She was 6, 9 and 11 when she recorded these three songs !


Painter Nicolas Clauss (new site) and Jean-Jacques Birgé have created lots of interactive modules together on Flying puppet (Macromedia Site of the Day, Centre Pompidou Special Award during FlashFestival, Third Prize at La Villette Numérique...). Created by Birgé, Clauss with choreographer Didier Silhol, Somnambules, has already got 5 international awards (Seoul, Videoformes, France Telecom Oone, SACD, ARS Electronica) and a nomination as "The strangest site" by Yahoo!
Now on stage, Somnambules live with Birgé, Clauss, Étienne Brunet (alto sax, Ring modulator, bagpipes) and Éric Échampard (drums). Contact us.
Somnambules has been shown as an installation at the 4th Seoul International Media Art Biennale (Media_City Seoul 2006) which theme was Dual Reality.

Clauss and Birgé have presented an interactive installation, Les Portes at Festival Nemo, Espace Paul Ricard, Paris (April 2006).

Birgé and Schmitt have created
Nabaz'mob, the first opera for 100 smart rabbits (Centre Pompidou, Web Flash Festival). They'be been working together on 2 projects, Nabaztag (the so-called smart rabbit by Violet) and a new interactive DVD which might be considered as the second volume of their CD-Rom Machiavel. Antoine has created a Nabaztag page on as-ci.net.
Nabaz'mob has been shown by Atari in a complete new version in New York City at the Wired NextFest (September 2006). Other shows in Nantes, Amiens, Amsterdam...

His artistic activities are on Gratin.org… He has created
Gameplay with Jean-Marc Matos and Anne Holst, a choreographic show in which a dancer is confronted with a visual and sonic semi-autonomous environment sensitive to her/his presence.

Hélène SAGE has composed the music of a ballet by Heddy Maalem, "Un champ de forces", video by Samuel Dravet, actually in Italy and France, so is the duet "Le monde à l'envers", with Anne-Marie Charles on texts by judge Eva Joly (the Elf affair!) and Louisa Paulin. Another show by Hélène Sage, "Humons la conditienne" (video-clip), on texts by Raymond Queneau...

Assez Vu is a new site by Francis Gorgé and Dominique Meens with extracts of their shows and a few rare documents on the Drame ! Francis seems also to have worked on Macloma Clowns' site ;-)

Etienne Auger
has designed Machiavel and the reissue of the first album of Un Drame Musical Instantané, Trop d'adrénaline nuit.
With Arnaud Dangeul (who has worked on the first version of this site) and Pierre Wendling (whom with Birgé has worked on CD-Rom "Le Grand Jeu"), they all take part of incandescence.
Birgé, Fred Durieu and Antoine Schmitt have joined them to work on various projects among which the site of Adidas and CD-Roms.

We often write about Hyptique without thanking its captain, Pierre Lavoie . In 1995, Pierre was the first one to invite us to multimedia landscape, and today he remains a close friend whom with we are still inventing and creating new projects, CD-Roms, web sites and interactive exhibitions.
