One after another the musicians have chosen an artwork by Roger Ballen as the theme for their collective improvisation.
Jean-Jacques Birgé, who had visited the exhibition at the Halle Saint Pierre the day before and had brought back the catalogs Asylum of the Birds and The world according to Roger Ballen, chose The Back of The Mind, Masked Man, Rats on Kitchen Table, Chicken Wings, Nicholas Christenson You Can't Come Back, Twirling Wires, Homage, Shadows and Stranger, and Jean-Brice Godet Alter Ego, Shepherd, Posing, Cornered.
